Crooks video diary day 2

The most worrying thing about that video is Hackney trotting up some stairs in flip flops! Seems like an injury waiting to happen.

He's clearly not the thinking man's footballer! 😂 (I think the Sid the Sloth thing might just stick!)

To be fair it's good to see them all having a laugh and getting on. Must be a strange environment to work in knowing that one day you could just be told you're off to the other end of the country so say goodbye to all your mates and start all over again.

The apparent awkwardness of Gilbert meeting Carrick, Woodgate etc is something many people can probably relate to upon starting a new job, or going to a meeting and having to make small talk with colleagues before the meeting starts.
 
Seems like half the players aren't really into this video diary thing (personally can't blame them!).
 
I thought Fry was serious, when I’ve seen him on other stuff, he doesn’t come across as the sharpest tool in the box educationally speaking, he couldn’t even operate the lift properly. I also think Sid has watched too much Indian Jones and not enough History channel, but it is a view that has plenty of traction, more than Daels has, bless him. I do love these diaries, but I have a feeling a few of the lads might get a bit sick of Crooksy doing them 🤣

Peter Crouch talks on one of his podcasts about the team bus, and about how everyone has their preferred seat. Apparently new players have to kinda hang back and then ask which seats are available so they don't sit in an established player's place.
 
Love Crooksy's diaries.
Barlaser might be on to something here. He has been around since the Ice Age after all so......even before gravity was invented.

I think Fry is just playing the deadpan role. He knows Crooksy is looking for an angle on a windup so he gives him one back but not the one he was expecting. Fry nearly cracks up twice on his own explanation (and gives the game away) but recovers it well. He does it so well he even makes Crooksy question his own sanity hence the turning the cam on himself. Effectively for the psychologists amongst us he is giving Crooksy a subliminal message of don't go trying to get a rise out of me like Dan, coz I ain't having it. :giggle:
 
No day 3? I hope Crooksy hasn’t been beaten up by Fry and Barlaser.

Fry appears to have a similar sense of humour to Woodgate, very dry.

Barlaser needs to get himself off the dark side of YouTube by the sounds of it.

I’m gunna miss Bola’s reactions if he does move on this summer.
