Cricket 4th Test early start in morning

Pretty much your team though bess needs to up his game, far too expensive. Moeen Ali would be I my team if he hadn't gone home.
Stone definitely deserves to play
 
It'll be another spinning pitch & India will walk it.

Foakes at 3? He's better than 7 but not first down.

If Stokes is fit enough to bowl a decent amount of overs I'd just go with Anderson or Stone & play another batsman

Just thought Foakes has best defence against spin after Root so get him in earlier.

Could find himself going to bat with no runs on the board though & not sure he's upto that - mind none of the others have been upto it yet!

I like Foakes & I think he's easily best wicket keeper and teams should always play the best in that position. Butler's decent but I'd just play him as a batsman.

I'd pick Mark Wood in place of Olly Stone if he's available, never lets anyone down. Though either of those two are preferable to Jofra Archer if he's only going to be bowling 80mph again.
 
At least this match might make it into day 3.

Actually I always thought the future of test cricket would be 2 day games. Each team has 2 up to 50 over innings. Innings one and two on day 1, innings three and four on day 2. Highest aggregate wins, only two results - win or tie.
