One of the most underrated British TV comedies of the past 20 years has now appeared on ITV player. For those that haven't seen it, it's based on Danny Baker's early life in South East London and features among others Peter Kay who plays his Dad Spud brilliantly. I watched them all back to back this last week for probably the 3rd or 4th time, and they're still as good as the first time I watched them.

Yes i liked it alot as well. The stuff with the art teacher seemed a bit fantastical but the relationships with parents and his siblings were excellent and genuinely funny.

Yeah I think they're obviously dramatised, but if you read the 3 books that he's written then he's certainly led a exciting and hilarious life.

I tried it at the time and didn’t really get into it. Maybe should give it another go. Though I do have an endless list of things to watch.
