Mate of mine went to Pollenca for a cycling break and complained that he had never known the island so bad as this year for Mozzies. Him And his mates were apparently covered in bites from Day 2.

If you take Vitamin B6 (I think) for a few months prior to going it makes you less susceptible to bites.

Covid going ??....................I know about a dozen(not from same circle of friends) who have had Covid in the last two weeks. Some are feeling really poorly this time around in comparison to having it previously.

When I did the Caledonian Challenge walk about 12 years ago ( Fort William to Loch Lomond along the old military track) we were advised to buy Avon Skin So Soft to keep the midges at bay. It worked.Evidently, this is what the Army use!
