Covid Outbreak

Tactical? Playing another game this week will be a struggle for us especially if we are missing players. Dont exactly like it but plenty of other clubs have benefitted from it so its worth a go

I doubt we can't muster 14 players. It's not ideal and probably means we will get beat. If we have 14 then it must go ahead. I don't think we have any injuries?

I don't think it will be a bad thing to get it binned (Sheff UTD will he raging as 2 games all ready called off by opposition).

In an ideal world that would be great, but it's simple if you have enough fit players you play. Blackpool got sh#t loads of abuse online because of the possibility of it getting called off.
Yes but Wehave played when others haven’t so we’ve more done our share this Xmas.

Vaccinated people can have the virus, I have lots of friends, work colleagues and neighbours who have had it despite being vaccinated. I have work colleagues who have tested positive 3 times, had symptoms after being vaccinated and had the booster.
A friend of mine just lost his life to it and he was triple jabbed

If we have the required number of players it should, and probably will, go ahead. Gibson is a stickler for rules.

We should not try and gain an advantage. It doesn't really matter what other teams are doing. Playing some of your games isn't doing your bit.

Still don't agree with games being postponed, squads are big enough these days. FA needs to bring back 5 subs to cope with all of this.
I agree with the 5 subs - and allowing 9 on the bench could also give space for some of the squad players/youngsters to come on if any of the players are fatigued
But as others have said if we have a lot
of players out - then to quote The Cranberries.... 'Everybody Else Is Doing It, So Why Can't We?'

It does seem a tad hypocritical that Blackpool got dogs abuse on here when there was a rumour they were trying to get the game off but there’s people advocating it’ll be a good idea for us to do the same.
Surely its only hypocritical if the circumstances are the same?

Blackpool only had 2 players who had tested positive and they had a player serving a suspension. We have between 8 and 15 depending on which site/thread you read.

The 2 scenario's are light years apart.

Well, well, well, how the turn tables.
