It’s ALWAYS about what’s in it for him…even if it is just to get through the next 24 hours.
The good news is Sunak must be shatting his mink Y fronts

I agree. You absolutely know there is absolutely nothing incriminating for Bozo. He's renowned for not keeping the correct records, being slapdash and disorganised, leading life off the cuff. I think if people are expecting it will be he who is hauled over the coals......may be in for a disappointment. Other ministers though .........
They are retrievable u less you specifically remove the default setting to ensure they aren’t retrievable. The redoubtable @carolvorders
“This Tory government disgusts me.
Bethell was the Minister in charge of Covid Contracts. He was a close ally of Hancock. Bethell did a lot of dealing on his phone. Guess what? He replaced his phone in 2021 cos the other one was "broken".. Well well well who'd have thought it?
Meanwhile there’s people claiming that given the phone number and password WhatsApp messages are still retrievable.
Criminals used encrypted phones for years .....can't believe the Tories missed this trick......They are retrievable u less you specifically remove the default setting to ensure they aren’t retrievable.
In large blue chip businesses, conducting work over non-approved devices and applications is sackable. Try sending contracts from your work laptop onto your own personal email and you’ll have cyber security locking your machine down and HR handing you your P45. The same must now be part of government business.
On top of that should you send personal information on a government device, that should be monitored and be the property of the government and no longer deemed personal.
This Is normal in most businesses these days. MPs, specifically Tory ones, seem to want their own privileged set of rules again

I am not sure this is true in most circumstances. Most organisations will ask for an explanation from you as to why. I know this because it happened to me.They are retrievable u less you specifically remove the default setting to ensure they aren’t retrievable.

Oh sorry the sacking bit mart.Which bit?
But not ones on the phone he used up to April 2021, maybe someone can explain why that is? If the phone isn't online what's the security risk can't those www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-56937889.ampJohnson is going to bypass the Cabinet Office and send his WhatsApp messages direct to the Inquiry![]()
Haha, yeah, the arrangement is "you give us all your messages, and we won't charge you".Government trying to spin this defeat as success
I think they have misunderstood the judgement, it is not for them to 'have an arrangement', it is for them to provide the messages in full and allow the chair to deem what is relevant and what is not.
I pointed this out the time, to many people, many times. It was blindingly obvious, even just with basic numeracy skills, didn't even need any epidemiology knowledge.
In any other industry it would either mean sacking or jail time, but that won't happen here of course. We’re basically looking at corporate negligence
