A lot of ministers currently in this version of the execrable government were around in other versions. Sunak included. Him and others will have been members of various WhatsApp groups, and will be involved in written communications.

I've had jobs where I've needed over 10 passwords, smartcards for my PC and laptop. Access passes for the buildings I work in plus a vehicle parking card

And all data HAS to go through a official work email. And this is probably pretty normal for data protection

And the government is using WhatsApp

That is sanctionable in itself, the use of WhatsApp to distribute any material isn’t allowed in government, the police, armed forces, NHS or the civil service.

Just been reading that the reason they can't/won't pass over the WhatsApp messages is that they have apparently already been passed on to the Met Police.

Suppose if you want evidence destroying/ losing may as well let the experts deal with it .......
