Coulson off to Ipswich

I think he has a lot of qualities, his pace being the obvious one,he likes to get forward and can whip a decent cross in.
Don't think left back is his best position but there's a player in there,I think he will go on and have a decent career,good luck to him
 
Didn't say whether permanent or loan hopefully loan, leaves us very light if Bola gets injured for any length of time
 
Loan would be fine. It could be the making of him if he does well. Thst or he's added a few quid if we wonna sell.

I'm not sure about a permanent. I doubt we'd get much. I doubt we have put any add ons in (as usual).

I think he's fine going forward. Just poor defensively like Spence. I think that's what's done for both.
 
I wonder if he's going as a left back, wing back, left mid or a winger?

Anyone know what formation they play, or if they have a hole in their squad for one of those positions?
 
He has speed and likes a tackle. I had high hopes in his first few games. He has stalled, like Spence has for me.

I thought he had little to no end product wherever he was played personally. He isn’t a full back, nor is he a winger…… at our level anyway. A season in league one may do him the world of good though so I wouldn’t want to write him off just yet. Hope he does well for them.

Not fussed at all and said earlier this year I think he would be off in the summer. Looked exciting in a very, very poor squad under Woodgate but he hasn't made a position his own, he was playing up front at the end of the season wasn't he? Destined for lower league football in my opinion.

Good luck to him though, he could be at worst clubs than Ipswich.
 
Not strong enough for level we are heading/aiming to be. Seems to have lots of niggly injuries and therefore never gets a good run of appearances.
 
Hopefully just a loan so we can keep tabs on him, a full season in league 1 and he might come back twice the player fingers crossed. Good move from Ipswich if he finds his level and starts performing for them. I’d be expecting at least 5+ goals from him.
 
I think he has ability, he definitely needs a run of games, hopefully he will get that at Ipswich and get some confidence, do well for them and provide an option for us in the future. Good luck to him.
 
It has to be a loan really as if he performs well we can then sell him for a few million next summer. Currently we won't get more than 500k for him I reckon
 
Would be disappointed to see him leave. Under Warnock he's not really had a good run of games, despite the fact that Warnock has said before that he is one of the best trainer's at the club. It's not that long ago that he won our young player of the year award. He must be one of our quickest players and it's not as if we have loads of cover on the left side so would be a shame to see him leave, particularly if it's on a permanent deal.
