Couldn't sell all their tickets but limited ours, odd

Their biggest game in decades, struggling for cash, didn't sell all their tickets which is poor and then didn't sell us block 7. All seems very odd.

its all over and done with, dont worry about it - any increase in over 2,000 away fans would have had any more monies swallowed up in extra police costs.

I read on their forum pre match it's due to their staidum license agreement that's abit over the top with policing more so than the Riverside segregation

I doubt it, don’t they have a capacity agreed at the start of the season which is 32,200?

I’ve seen images in game with a sizeable number of empty seats dotted around the middle of their stands

love a full house evening match, it's like the darkness makes it feel claustrophobic, like nothing exists outside of the four stands and the pitch.

They sold out all the tickets they decided to sell or were allowed to sell, I was looking for a home end ticket and there wasn't even hospitality left.

Now you can slate them for leaving big zones unsold but then I guess it will be the same at the Riverside Weds, sad trend for some reason where clubs feel the need to do that but it is the way for some reason

Not going to lie I was there yesterday and was massively impressed with the home support, maybe not as long and sustained as ours but very very loud especially considering for the most part they were second best.

I find the 'we sold all the available tickets' argument extremely odd, thats alright when you see a mass of seats next to the away end but what about the clusters of seats empty all over the home end? Unless those people who sit together we're away/ill/wedding/work together, how does that work that there was clusters of 5,10,15 seats together on different rows, all empty? Cant wrap my head around it but it doesnt really matter as we've given them the same amount of tickets we received and Wednesday night it'll be a completely different atmosphere under the lights, an early goal and they wont know whats hit them.

Let's not start acting like mackems over tickets sold, there was a chunk of empty seats in our end yesterday as. I'm sure there's a reason for that as well rather than us not selling out.
