Coronavirus good news thread

Oh and the supply chain in Italy remains intact. Despite the message number of cases and deaths. No panic buying and supermarkets operating as normal

The focus should start to report recovery rates instead of infected rates. The recovery numbers would be much more reliable and take away the gloom and despondency

Exactly. Why aren’t confirmed recoveries widely reported in the numbers? Doesn’t fuel the media fire.

Thread overboard! Can we keep it to good news and not schadenfruede or jealous attacks on billionaires?
jealous attacks on billionaires - ? Branson. Not exactly known for his philanthropy is he. Don't forget he sued the NHS.

This argument of jealousy when it comes to criticising billionaires is very weak. Why would anyone be jealous ? Billionaires have a moral duty to handle their money to the benefit of others. He should look at Bill Gates and a few others as a role model in that respect.

But he prefers his vanity projects. Of which there are numerous over the years. not to mention the current one of putting even bigger knobs than him up in space.
Now hes running to the government for billions to pay for his plane parking when that money could be spent ramping up NHS facilities.

Lets see how he treats the staff he will be laying off in the coming weeks / months.

Everyone speaks sense from time to time. I’ve often agreed with things you say. I still listen to what people say and try to understand their point of view, even if I dislike them generally. Doesn’t mean I can’t learn from them, or agree with them on some things while being polar opposite on others.

To clarify, I’m not saying I dislike you...but I’d hope you know that already really.

I like you Fabio 😁. Actually I don’t dislike anyone on here. All boro fans at end of the day with different views

Why do billionaires have a moral obligation to do anything with their money? That makes no sense. I don’t know how much you get paid but I’d wager it’s significantly more than starving families in South Sudan. Do you have a moral obligation to feed and clothe them?

Just listening to that. Very impressive for a hard hit country.

Germany keeping people alive as well . . . . so far.
It actually shocked me. Well impressed by the Italians.
Germans doing well with their mortality rate so far too. Agreed. I can only think healthcare is a reason? Maybe different ways of socialising too? They certainly don’t have the healthiest of diets.
Not sure if it was posted on here but did you see that the contestants of German Big Brother had no idea what was happening? They told them all yesterday. That must have seemed like a terrible, terrible joke to them all
