Why is it that there’s an increase in SM posts about aeroplane contrails…
While it’s not any doubt that there has been a level of geo engineering throughout recent history, not every white line you see in a clear sky the government poisoning our atmosphere…
But some people are obsessed with claiming this is the case…
They’re now saying you never saw it in the 70s but I clearly remember seeing ‘sky scrapers’ scratch the azure blue skys back as a kid, may be not as much, but there were less aeroplanes back then…
I believe geoengineering is happening - not because I think someone is poisoning the skies, but because it's a massively profitable and growing industry.
Cloud seeding alone was worth around £300 million in 2023 and is expected to reach £540 million by 2032. Stratospheric aerosol injection (SAI) could cost up to £8 billion annually to implement. Passive radiative cooling tech is forecast to drive a £21.5 billion market by 2025.
The UK is leading the way in climate cooling innovations. In 2025, the UK government committed £57 million to 21 geoengineering projects, including £10 million to enhance Arctic sea ice. British researchers are also exploring ways to deploy cooling aerosols using existing aircraft fleets, making large-scale deployment more feasible without expensive infrastructure.
In my view, this isn’t about conspiracy - it’s about climate intervention being turned into a business model (the ethics of which i find incredibly dubious). And with billions at stake, it deserves more public debate and transparency.
