Conservative MP Peter Amess stabbed in Essex attack

No doubt security will be looked at again but I don't understand how, after Jo Cox, MPS don't have security to prevent such attacks.

As I understand it, he wouldn't have wanted any security. All very sad.

Our country is in a terrible place. Years ago Cameron used the slogan 'Broken Britain'. It is now.

(Not really an attempt at political discussion, it's just a thought that occurred to me now)

I agree.

We have always had difference of opinions but now we are polarised: We are forced to "pick a side"; it is becoming acceptable to use violence against people that do not agree with our view (political or religious); We are encouraged to "rightly" take what is ours, whatever that happens to be; we have become shallow shells dictated to be the media, compounded with the emergence of social media, christ, we are even dictated to by brands with their communication strategies now having virtue signalling messages as a way of selling THEIR products.

Society is going to Hell and I don't see any signs of things changing.
