Its like expectant father's not being allowed to attend scans and only two hours of the mothers labour. But they can go to the pub instead I suppose!

Is this 2 hours thing true? My partner gave birth beginning of September and I wasn’t allowed in until she was in “active labour”. This lasted for several hours until an emergency cesarean was needed. I must have been in the hospital for at least 12 hours.

Its true, or at least the BBC reported it last week - maybe different health authorities apply different standards?

I'm surprised these days that the poor little baby doesn't have to adorn a mask before they make their appearance
