Thought the game was very poor tonight apart from a couple of flicks in the first half. Grealish looked dangerous in parts, but for me Kane comes way to deep, a few times he was the furthest player back!

Austria are no mugs though, we just watched a player of David Alaba’s quality, one of the best in the world, who’s just signed for Real Madrid play at the Rivrside. Sabitzer is a very good player too.

The booing was cringeworthy but for me the clapping made up for it, felt very proud to clap back against them and personally feel the more this happens the more the booing will be shut down.

Yes Alaba was quality wasn’t he.

I was block 47 upper

Considering the amount of assists Kane has for Spurs, you generally wouldn’t mind him dropping deep but the problem is i dont think he has the same kind of players around him for England, not better or worse, just different. Kane plays with Son, who chips in with his fair share of goals too which allows Kane to go deep sometimes.

I don’t think the other attacking players for England are massive goal threats, so I think Kane needs to stay forward more. It’s a shame because his assists speak for themselves, but for England I just think it won’t work the same.
 
I was disappointed Lingard didn't make the squad, but due to us being top heavy in attacking players I wouldn't take him now. He should have been selected ahead of Saka, although fair play to Saka for getting his goal last night.

Maguire and Henderson are both worries for me. Either of them picks up an injury and we're going to be left short at CD and CM.

Because of that I'd replace TAA with either Godfrey or Ward-Prowse.

Yeah, they were showing themselves right up.
Hurling abuse at Alexander-Arnold, David Alaba, Tyrone Mings and bizarrely that Tango.

Was relieved when they were moved but then they were back up there in the second half so they clearly weren't removed from the stadium like I'd hoped.

Yeah I noticed that, but they didn't half shut up once they got told off. There was an elderly couple sat right next to them even with the supposed gaps in between, felt sorry for them.
