Colour 'clashing' decisions

They said on Saturday that it was superstition from Tuchel, as he'd won something with Dortmund playing in all yellow. Probably more to to with they've hardly worn that kit this season so giving it some exposure.

In the league the away team should play in their away kit, unless it clashes with the home kit.

Agree that at a neutral ground both should be in their home strip unless there is a clash.

When did 'change kit' (or 'change strip') become 'away kit'? The former to be used by away sides only when a 'clash' necessitated it.

I suspect it's all about selling replica shirts.

After the comments during the Bournemouth game by those living with colour blindness, green kits should be banned unless they are very distinctive like Celtics hoops for example.

Sunderland v Sheff Wed both wore stripes in play off games.
obvious clash.
Forest away game recently were they had away kit on, opposition keeper had exactly same coloured shirt on. Can’t recall which team it was now.

This. That would also completely nullify the contractual obligations from certain sportswear companies that the away kit/third kit must be worn 'X' amount of times per season.

Why would you play in the away kit by default? Our club colours are red and white, that's what we should wear most of the time

I’m colourblind and hate it when they allow both teams to wear stripes. Sheff Wed v Mackems was a hard watch the other night (and not just cos the Mackems progressed)

I thought it was hard to see who was who anyway and I aren't colourblind. Not sure how it was allowed.

The one that gets me is the shirt or kit clash with the ref. Couple of times this season its happened when I was watching.

ie. Liverpools goalkeeper always in black.
