Another big plug for this very important collection.
Really well done to the Supporters and Forum (not me I have been working on a building site) and MFC for pulling this all together at such short notice.
Have your items ready please for tomorrow - 11am - 3pm outside Legends Lounge SW corner of Riverside.

Obviously not possible for tomorrow…. But, it would be great if the club could provide a few contactless card readers, set at say £5.

I know I and many others would happily tap their card whilst going past.

I always feel bad for the charity collectors as I hardly ever carry any cash / loose change

Me too Alex

I assume they're collecting cash too?

The latest advice is that money is preferred as it can provide targeted aid more easily given the fluid situation in Ukraine right now.

I'll be contributing.

Yes they are collecting cash.

The above comment about a £5 contactless machine is a great idea, surely the club has one spare.
I don't know. But everyone could take £5 with them perhaps.
Actually in selling fanzines I haven't come across any problems this season with people saying they haven't got any cash. I have been very pleasantly surprised - I thought no one would have money anymore.

Latest news is that the collection van at the Riverside is already half full and it is not even 12 noon yet.
So that load will be dispatched now.
