Collection for Ukraine at Boro on Saturday

Look out for the van - kindly loaned by the Food Bank - parked in the car park in front of the south west corner of the ground (Legends Lounge).

Reformatted your list for ease Rob and to repeat it, I am thinking cash is easiest though:

Camping mats
Sleeping bags
Protein/energy bars
Painkillers
Anti flu medicine
Wound dressing materials
First aid kits
Warm blankets
Thermals
Hot water bottles
Insulated flasks
Baby food
Nappies
Feminine sanitary products
Power banks for charging phones
Large and medium sized backpacks
Dry food – pasta/rice

No clothes are being collected at this time

Didn't see the van or any collectors on my way in to the stadium, I guess it's parked in a different place to where the food bank one is normally located.

It wasn't when I walked past, unless I'm mixing up the lounges.

That's all I saw today, a few men collecting for Teesside Hospise.
You must be getting mixed up.
It was parked outside Legends Lounge with the big Ukraine banner. I put a photo on here to help you.

Teesside Hospice were collecting today too.

Why was there no coordination?
There is a designated charity collection selected for every match at the start of the season. Local charities. There is a waiting list as it is really important. Ukraine crisis has just happened. This was an extra collection.
I can tell you that 2.5 van loads of donations were taken and they are still counting the money which is a long way over £1k already.
So , what a fantastic effort by everyone.

I really do hope that Teesside Hospice also did well - their volunteers really worked hard to collect today.

Ahhh, my mistake then, for some reason I've always thought the legends lounge was the nickname for whatever the lounge in the East Stand is called.

That'll teach me to skim the OP.

Who was the registered charity that was collecting for ukraine, and what percentage of monies taken legally has to go to the Ukrainian people ?
This should be shown by all charity’s
Middlesbrough Supporters Forum and MFC were collecting. I do not think anyone will be taking a percentage of blankets and band aids do you? Or dip into the cash.
All collections at the Riverside are by volunteers and 100% go to the charity.

ok, I’ll email mfc about this 👍🏻
Charity numbers were clearly displayed on all volunteers buckets from Teesside Hospice yesterday.
The operation to provide emergency aid to Ukraine was conducted in conjunction with formal charity partners.
