Thought he would struggle physically but a few times out muscled their big defenders. Better service he will get a few.

Playing him with crooks is a joke tho. Get some pace around him. Holds it up really well.

Where does o'brien play? Thought he was poor. Every pass misplaced or behind the man.

For me hackney was the only player in the first half who played forward passes through opposition lines. And successfully on a few occasions. Whilst the rest of the team went sidewards and backwards on repeat.

Wasn't great first half, but for that alone I thought he did better than others.

He completely wrecked their biggest player to create his own chance. Bullied the life out of him ..
His hold up play was great, .. and a big factor in that 20 min spell ..

He also looked like a leader from the TV . Bossing people about etc.

yeah Hackney was the only player for me 1st half who came out with any credit. He was trying to push forward.

Don't agree mate he was reckless in a game where u need to be solid and wear them down he was poor.

To be fair I could see his frustration but it didn't help him giving the ball away.

He was also at fault for the goal by not marking his man and watching the ball.

I feel the movement in front and around Hackney was poor tonight and he had to hold on to the ball longer than he should and had it knicked off him a few times.

I would like to see Coburn get a run of games and see what he can do.

Agree but Carrick was terrified to bring latte on with him for fear of losing the game rather than thinking about winning the game - against rubbish as well

Coburn was class tonight. Worked hard, kept it simple, good layoffs. Just need somebody like Lathe to link up with. Oh, and somebody to give him the ball in the box so he can have a shot.

Our hardest grafter and showed spirit sadly lacking in many of the others last night. He took command, worked back and usually distributed the ball pretty well.
