Clue me up on Cyprus

If you're a carnivore try out the Pork chops, huge in size. Roughly around 11 Euros. There is a place we have used a few times as you come out of Paphos airport turn left at the junction and it's on the right, called the Alati. Mainly used by Taxi drivers waiting for inbound flights, they also do a mean Tuna Salad.

If you’re interested in history the Roman mosaics in the archaeology park just behind the harbour are stunning. There’s a lot of walking involved over rough tracks so if you do go there then learn from my mistakes and (i) wear decent shoes, (ii) don’t go in the mid afternoon heat and (iii) take a photo on your phone of the site map outside the ticket office (it’s a very extensive sprawling site and there is virtually no signposting).

nb When I was in Paphos two weeks ago it was still a legal requirement in Cyprus to wear a face mask in all buildings, on public transport etc. Enforcement was very haphazard but you’ll need to carry one everywhere just in case.

Cheers for that info. I was wondering about the mask situation. Have the Roman ruins on my list as well 👍
Bar street is off my list, been reading reviews, it sounds pretty crap 😒

Getting off work into Cyprus next week and got myself 4 nights booked in Paphos before I fly home. Has anyone got any tips on the best things to do, see, eat and drink ?
👀🍽️🍺.

Any advice appreciated.
The harbour/ sea front area is great, every single meal we had there was well above average (compared to anywhere else like that I've been), couldn't really fault any dish that I had, and neither did the missus (which is saying something).

Avoid Bar St.

There's a pretty good restaurant called Muse, which is high up, so the views are great. Take a taxi and maybe something a bit warmer than you would be wearing down by the coast, it's a bit cooler up there and a little windy sometimes.
