Cleveland is officially the UK's most dangerous place.

Haven't had any issues with a night out on Redcar. Boro the other hand is dodgy as. Always getting looks of other fellas looking to scrap, been a big lad I'm an easy target. In saying that this was 10 years ago since I've been out in Boro so assuming is even worse now?

What will voting Labour change? Law & Order has declined in this country over a period of decades under both parties.
I can only presume this comment is borne out of a short memory, or just a simple lack of understanding.

Under Labour the responsibility fot tackling crime, and significantly the causes of crime, were made the legal responsibility of the public sector, including the working in partnership to do so. It was quite simple a game changer and together with funding to back it up real sustainable change was happening.

Then austerity under the tory government systematically dismantled the whole thing, leaving both the police, and the partnerships that has seen so much success, in tatters.

Things were compounded even more by Teresa May, both as home sec and then PM.

Our police service has been ravaged by this government, as have all public sector organisations.

It should make you very angry indeed, I know it does me.

Doesn't surprise me. Always felt more dangerous a night out on Teesside than Liverpool or Manchester. Those city areas have a lot more people and more rich areas than Teesside so on average the economic prosperity is way higher. There is more crime where there is more poverty so there is bound to be more crime on Teesside. All this really says is Teesside has been neglected economically more than any other area which is something most people already know.
I had a gun pulled on me in Manchester. That's never happened on Teesside. I once had a bloke threaten me with a sawn off in Stockton, but he never took it out of his jacket. He just told me that if I beat Scott up he was going to shoot me and advised me to walk away. I walked away. Weird thing is that the same bloke who threatened to shoot me apologised and asked me to play guitar in his band a few months later.

Gun pulled out on me in Amsterdam, late at night, took my wallet and watch, luckily before mobile phones. I didn't blame the EU or the Dutch Governement.

People say the Boro is rough, but there are more dangerous places.

But the government is responsible for crime, law and order, regardless who you did or didn’t blame. It’s their job

I’ve knocked nights out in Boro on the head massively especially since covid. Seems to be something happening every other weekend. Doesn’t help that there’s not many choices of places to go now and so you can’t avoid the trouble like you used to be able to.

Let’s do it Bumface. I’m always on, just not often commenting.

After the picnic we can Netflix and chill 😀
I don't have Netflix. The dog doesn't get along with it and it was their lawyers who ruined my favourite streaming site. We can watch Twin Peaks though. I rewatch that every year. There's plenty of beer in the beer fridge.
