Clarksons Farm season 3

If you think farmers DON'T care for the animals that they raise you are very wrong. Of course like all subsets of humanity there will be those that don't, most do.

Another lie is that Veganism and/or Vegetarianism is inherently more healthy than a mixed diet including fish and meat so you may also be wrong about that too. But it's science so... you know...

Who has claimed that on this thread? No one has mentioned healthy diets.

I said I don’t understand it, I didn’t say they don’t (care).

I don't know, and not defending or otherwise, but perhaps it makes some difference not actually having been born into farming ? It's something he's started rather than in the blood so to speak ?

I’m genuinely perplexed by Clarkson. His outspoken, at times, bigoted views are something I’ve always been against. However, he comes across as a decent person a lot of the time on Clarkson’s Farm.

My boss is from a farming family and she is a huge supporter of the program for highlighting agricultural life.

Clarkson has made a pretty successful career out of playing the fool and being witty. There is clearly a very emotional side to him though which leads to some solid TV moments like the episode in question and also to him punching the guy over a steak which was indefensible regardless of the circumstances.

Overall I was skeptical about Clarkson farm when it took off because I thought it would just be an extended Top Gear skit like when they went caravanning and deliberately wreaked havoc for comedic purposes but I think he's genuinely opened a lot of eyes to how hard it is for farmers in this country.

Having bred puppies in the past and been through similar traumas it brought a few tears to my eyes

I suppose it’s proof that there’s good and bad in most people, and we should try not to judge people using binary code.

Except meat eating b***ds! With their rubbish diets! 🤣😉 🎣
