I think we are probably at a point where Chuba is happy to stay but just not sign a new contract with the terms that are being offered which is potentially the worst possible result for Boro.
Chuba knows he is 4 months away from a big signing on fee and big wages. Boro will lose a £10mil asset for no return. On top of that we potentially have a player who could be playing half the season when he has signed for a new club. That generally comes with a decline in form.
