I don't think he will, he will find it increasingly difficult now everyone is aware of him and how he plays. He is going to have to find an extra gear to make the same impact as he did this season.

Sides have really started to clatter through the back of him from the first minute as it is clear that once he gets turned then they are in all kinds of trouble.

What we need, and maybe Carrick needs to call it out and put pressure on the refs, is for some protection and getting the cards out earlier than the 5th or 6th challenge from behind on Chuba.

IF he stays I'd be happy if he scored 15-20 and the goals shared out amongst the team. The Coventry games showed, defend deep, keep him and Archer quiet and we were toothless.

Highly unlikely he will get 25-30 next season and that's the risk for both parties.

Any offer £15m+ he's gone. £10-15m......hmmmm. Take the money and risk losing £100m if we don't go up? Very tricky situation for everyone. Just hope "whatever" happens it's sorted in June and this doesn't drag on like Tav and he's sold a week before the season starts.

Definitely. A lot of refs in the championship are poor for letting sides get away with those sorts of tactics.

An improved set piece threat wouldn't hurt either. Make sides think twice before giving away cheap free kicks.

Hackney got 3, but even 2 of them were when he was playing the McGree/Ramsey advanced role. 2 goals from CM and the defence combined all season (Hackney, McNair)

Defintiely. For all the goals we scored, we should have had at least 20 more from the other positions you mentioned. I'm sure that is something Carrick will be trying to address.

If I was him (as a non-boro fan) with his career so far, his age and a young family, I'd be looking at trying to get a three or four year deal at least doubling my money from a lower Prem club.

If he doesn't then fair play to him.

His problem is if he goes he needs his new team to play him in the same position as he plays for us now not stick him up front on his own as that dont work.
