Chuba still injured

So we’re all agreed - he isn’t and wasn’t injured, cool.

He's probably making his debut for Ajax in September, so you're not going to be proven right unless Akpom decides to come out and say that he was lying about being injured in the future.

He'd likely be fit in September whether he was genuinely injured or not.

Deep down, he knows he has failed at PAOK, his dream is clearly over, he has given up on fame having left the Boro to play for a no mark of a club named after a cleaning product
Chuba is a reflective chap and basically decided to go there to secure his family’s future financially 👍

He won the league and cup double at PAOK, scoring the winner in the Greek Cup final.

Only their third League title in their 97 year history, and 7th Cup.

He won't have scored as many as he hoped, but he certainly didn't fail there.

Hopefully he wins a league title and scores plenty for Ajax.
Whoosh

And yet passed a fitness test no bother, no mention whatsoever from Ajax about injury

You hardly ever get players passing a medical when injured. Far more regularly moves collapse when players are injured and medical is failed. Much more often clubs say a player is injured to explain absence while negotiating a move.

It happens all the time...

Just last season for us:

Josh Coburn joined Bristol Rivers whilst he was injured.
We signed Aaron Ramsey whilst he was injured.

Neither of which were actual transfers. Very unlikely to drop the bulk of your budget on a player with an injury

Lol that's patently not true

Oh all the transfers this window alone, how many players were injured when they changed clubs?

Are you really expecting people to provide a list of every player rather than just admit you got something wrong? 😂

Here are a few more:

Jack Harrison signed for Everton with a hip injury.

Rasmus Hojlund signed for Man United for £72m whilst injured.
