Chuba Akpom

I’ve consistently said Akpom isn’t good enough, since before we ever signed him.

Yes, right or wrong about Akpom, we definitely know that you’re “consistent”.

I’ll bet though that you can‘t prove your assertion that you’ve been saying it “since before we ever signed him”.

It’s a good save because he allowed him to. Chuba didn’t seem to have any anticipation that the ball would drop at all. I think he could’ve been a fraction of a second quicker on to it and smash it.
I don’t know about “any anticipation“ but the ball could have dropped to where he was openly standing just as easily as to where it did.

I wish he was consistent.

Unfortunately I don’t carry a dictaphone around with me to record all my conversations, but hopefully this will do as confirmation that I’ve been saying it for some time.

Not even close. Boro signed him on September 19, 2020.

Just because things weren’t recorded didn’t mean they didn’t happen. But carry on trying to point score pedant. I worked for Hull in 2015. I’ve seen enough of him over his career to know the guy is robbing a living. His miss today won’t be the last. Mark this one.

Well my eyes and Arsene Wenger tells me he’s a good one.

So what did you do for Hull City to make you an expert?

I'm not his biggest 'fan'. Yet I'd say it's every bit as much a worldie save than miss.

I mean at that range you'd just hit the target and expect to score. It not like he had time or distance to place it.

The keeper made himself big from point blank range. I'm sure 90% of the time it goes in. Just sums us up at the moment 😕
