Chuba... 4 goals in 3 subs appearances

Delighted for him. Shame it hasnt worked out for giles after choosing Premier league giants luton over us:ROFLMAO:
I was never comfortable with Giles as a left back for us. He wa appaling in defence. No great loss but his crossing ability was outstanding first half of the season. He went off the boil second half so offered us nothing.

Odd that they still won’t start him.
Apparently it's something to do with it just being accepted doctrine among both fans and club officials that Brobbey is their best striker and the two "Bergs" - Bergwijn and Berghuis are so effective alongside him it would be just heresy to not start those three nearly all the time.

The way he's performed when he has come on though, makes me agree that it's still a little puzzling that he doesn't start occasionally - or at least get more minutes. They only seem to bring him on when there's 10-15 mins to go.

Giles needs to be in a team that is playing on the front foot and dominating games therefore predominantly attackin. He's never going to be good enough to play for a team doing this in the Premier League.

He's a top end Championship player. He was brilliant for us under Carrick when we had the ball for 60+% of the time. Agree that he was vulnerable defensively but he more than made up for it through his attacking play. Engel is a big downgrade in my opinion. He has the same defensive frailties but gives nowhere near as much going forward.

I wouldn't be surprised if a prem club came in for him in January

Palace, Fulham or Luton? Everton Maybe?

£12m 20% profit for Ajax in half a season
£54k a week would be a double your money deal for Akpom (5 year deal)

£24m all in for Championships top scorer, Middlesbrough goal scoring record holder and knocking 1 in 45mins for Ajax out of position.

Fulham's number 9 is free AND their number 29

Everton's number 29 is free..

Was just coming on the thread to post something similar, unless he starts getting in the team from the start I definitely think he'll be in the prem by the end of Jan, too many teams needing goals for him not to be a target

He's settling into a new club and seems happy with the new manager. Why would a) they sell him and b) would he want to move?
