Chris Wilder Press Conference at 4pm

They've uploaded it after the press conference has finished for well over a year now, it's nothing to do with amateur hour.
They give the local press a bit of a chance to release some content before doing so.

They used to broadcast it live on YouTube for years.
People just complained that they were missing bits or that it wasn't happening at the exact time it was announced.

Feel like he deserved more of a fan fare and welcome. A paltry Zoom recording on his own shown an hour after the event comes across as a bit small time.

Just watched Parts 1 and 2, very interesting. Certainly seems like he wants to play football with a pressing game.....won't be dissimilar to Sheff Utd no doubt.
Comments regarding the academy and imbalanced squad also interesting, and needing players in January. Certainly feel a bit sorry for Warnock, but looks like we are finally putting together a proper structured approach throughout the club. Exciting times ahead hopefully 👍

I wouldn't entirely agree with the 'small time' comment, but I get your point that you would usually expect to have someone from the club there to officially welcome them and ask about the clubs thought process in appointing their chosen candidate. So it was an unusual unveiling and not as professional as it could have been.

Having said that having everyone there is no guarantee of appearing professional, I remember one unveiling of a manager (can't recall which), where the press started asking the manager questions before the conference had officially started. The manager started answering a few questions and after a minute or two Gibson interrupted to give Bausor a public admonishmen "can we have a proper introduction and welcome Neil please!"

Covid is still playing a huge part in that.

I forget which one, but one of the journalists outright said that they hope to meet Wilder in person one day in the press conference.

It's not just Middlesbrough either, virtually every England press conference has been journalists calling in via Zoom, including the press conference in the build up to our first final in 55 years.
