Chris Wilder’s REAL philosophy and tactics - watch the video

It was crazy how well shef u did that first season in the prem as some one said almost bielsa like.

Hopefully once a few have watched the vid it will end all the long ball rubbish I’ve seen over the last 24hrs as it’s simply not the case. He’s an innovative young up and coming coach with an impressive and cv esp in this league.

Yes there is no doubting his ability but my doubts lie in how he reacted to poor results the following two seasons. How will he work with the D of F? He is on record as saying he wants full control of transfers and yet his record isnt a great one judging by who they acquired there with the money.

Firstly let’s worry about the prem when we get there ( don’t forget Warnock was abysmal in the prem as well) so I wouldn’t worry about his record in the second season.

then let’s look at his recruitment in this league on a budget and it was excellent.

he gets players average players playing better that’s been his hall mark he creates TEAMS and gives them a system style that works.

Sheffield United only performed so poorly due to the pandemic circumstances meaning that fans weren't there to carry potential goalscoring situations over the line with motivation, combined with key players ageing. Form nosedived once COVID hit, I think without those circumstances they'd have recruited better in that summer and probably performed a lot better.

It’s a high energy press so could play into the hands of some of our squad and not into the hands of some others.

Sheffield UTD were heavily hit by the lockdown and crowds. I get that everyone was but it's definitely a big part of that first season. The lane is pretty lively when full.

I think they also massively missed Henderson in goal. That first season they were a joy to watch. Absolutely going toe to toe with many big guns. In a 'progressive' style that the champo and prem had frankly never seen. We even had the like of Klopp scratching his head saying he'd never seen it before.

Also just look at Leeds now. It's again a second season syndrome. It's hard to keep it going when you've punched for years.

He basically had a 'bad' (used loosely) 8 months out of 4 years. That's not including his success pre Sheff UTD. I think he's a great appointment. The best available for me (that includes Lampard etc).

He's pretty no 'nonsense' and northern. That doesn't make him a 'young Warnock'. I simply don't get how anyone thinks he's hoof ball? They clearly ain't seen any of Sheff UTD in the last 3-4 years.

That said he likes two big grafters up top.

It’s clear shef u fans enjoyed his time with them and that’s the best bench mark for me for any manager.
I saw maybe 10-15 tweets from Sheff UTD fans saying he will do well for us. Also most of them saying they would have him back.

Also hammering a few Boro fans who 'thought he wasn't good enough'

I chuckled as a Boro fan said he'd prefer Alex Neil. A Sheff UTD fan commented saying compering Neil to Wilder is like Su Bo to Megan Fox😂 (sorry if the guy who wanted Neil is reading this).
