In their defence, the league has been so uncompetitive since Rangers were booted down to the bottom tier that anything but a treble each season is failure.

There's actually competition again now, and they're not used to it.

The sectarian stuff is ridiculous. I did some work at a factory in Glasgow in 2012 and the stuff written on the walls in the bogs had to be seen, Fenian b*****ds. etc., etc., .............. Mind you it was at the time of Rangers' demotion and a Rangers fan told me that when he typed Annan into his SatNav it just said "Where?!?" :LOL:
 
i call them bigots because thats what rangers and celtic fans are , sectarian bigots, who sing sectarian songs in 'EVERY SINGLE HOME MATCH', the fact people deny it or dismiss it as trivial defies belief

I i'd refer to rangers fans as prodestant bigots as well, i'm not religious as my brain has developed past that of a 5 year old chimpanzee, Rangers and Celtic have been getting away with sectarianism for 50 years and still get away with it now because people like me get criticised for bringing it up, its disgusting what they sing, especially at old firm matches, and it seems they are immune from criticism judging by this thread, obviously closet Celtic fans

There is bigotry from both sides but to say there is a genuine religious element is a fallacy these days. The decline of religious practice in this country over the past decades hasn't stopped at the border.

I'm certainly not a Celtic sympathiser, now if I'd called rangers fans protestant bigots I could understand you thinking that.

Five year old chimps would probably use the odd full stop , and its actually ‘ Protestant ‘ as historically that word is key towards it’s political/religious indoctrination .

Their fans are acting absolutely pathetic.

I've just watched some of the videos of them outside the stadium, I'd be embarrassed if I was a Celtic fan.

It matters not whether it's genuine or not both sides hang their hat on old religious differences. As I mention above the bog walls at the factory I was in were entirely filled with Celtic/Rangers grafitti at least 75% of which was based on religion. Crazy. (n)

It might be 'based on religion', but since the vast majority of fans have barely seen the inside of a church or could quote 3 lines from the Bible these days, I'd call it brainless tribalism.
