There a link below which discusses the four known seasonal viruses. Viruses don't have to be seasonal as SARS and MERS aren't. Novel coronaviruse are rare and their novelty makes them unpredictable. We'll get a better understanding over the next 5-10 years which way it goes.

Sorry bear, but there is no data in the article. Yes, while this may be a new virus it is currently following the expected pattern in Northern European countries and the expected (but different) pattern in the Southern american countries. I have shown the graphs a number of times and a video explanation of this previously and don't want to spam the board but if you want I'll link to them again.
