I'm fuggin fuming at gibbo.....

This was our chance to take a young manager and build a dynasty over 4 or 5 seasons.

Hes calm well thought of but weve used him to add value to our players and sell them

I see no point in sacking him if we are indeed trying to implement this new model. This summer window will be a good indication of how serious we are about this new approach. If we repeat last summer's business and fill the squad with projects then I think he'll get out of his own accord.

Carrick picks the team and sets the formation so ultimately is held responsible for the results.

Granted things have gone against him this season but he has also made a lot of mistakes and when needing to have answers to others game plans to exploit our weaknesses has come unstuck.

I am for Carrick aswell but teams no how to play against us he needs to improve.
 
I'm not sure about 'yes or no'. Frankly I'm not overly ars*d either way. Think that says it all.

We've been crippled by injuries. Yet also have to question some of his formations / starting 11s and tactics in recent weeks. So he's definitely not beyond getting some stick.

The whole season is fizzing out. We are one or two games away from being 'on the beach'.
 
I'm more angry than I have been at him before today, but overall I want him to stay and learn. To just watch that and not try to make an early radical change is frustrating to me.

I'd like to see some evidence of him learning over the rest of the season.

Not good enough today, but what does he have to work with. I blame the people above for lack of backing personally......would be daft to sack him. He deserves backing in the summer and see what happens, with the summer incomings we were never going to challenge. It's all about next season now and has been for some weeks.
 
I don't want to see us get rid of a manager unless we are threatened with going down. I've just had it with us continually chopping and changing.

It's been concerning in recent weeks. Since Chelsea. Teams just press us because they know how poor we are at playing out from the back. Particularly without coburn or Akpom available to hit up front. Or even crooks Or rogers. Or without some pace to stretch the defence. And without dieng whose distribution is varied and far better.

Press us for the first half hour. Then get everyone behind the ball. Easy three points.

There is nothing wrong with playing from the back if you do it properly. Coventry did it to us. They play out to a set pattern. Bang bang bang and they are at the halfway line. We pass it sideways then play it inside to a **** weak midfield that can't hold the ball. The players aren't being coached well enough in set routines.
 
Stay but I can’t stand it when managers do the same thing when it isn’t working. Our home form has been pathetic of late and we are so easy to play against.

As above, if this continues between now and the end of the season then maybe I wouldn’t be as disappointed as I assumed I would be.

Why the **** am I going to Stoke
