In one way though it gets the inevitable out of the way, no easy games I know but there are worse games he could have missed than Stoke at home.

Fair point, probably better it come against a Stoke than one of the teams we have in the cluster of fixtures after that like Leicester/Leeds/Hull/Preston/Ipswich. Gonna be a tough run, that.

I think suspensions don't carry out into cups. I think Crooks was suspended for Bradford as he had 2 yellows in previous rounds.
