Last season we had Akpom defending as well as scoring goals who is doing his job now.

I reckon he’d get longer than Wilder, mainly due to MC not up to the same shenanigans.

Remember, Gibson was contemplating letting Woodgate take us down to League 1 and stick with him. However, who knows with this Chairman.

OK, I'll let you into some inside info.

The truth is that MC called into The Crispy Cod last week. When he got home he found that his order of 2 cod and chips with one mushy peas and one baked beans had been well and truly bolloxed up. Not only had his cod become plaice, but his mushy peas side order had been replaced with a gravy portion. Apparently Mrs MC went ballistic, and MC himself was so angry that he did a whoopsy on his neighbour's front lawn.....and who could blame him?!

I fear this is the source of the "MC not happy" rumours.
