After the first 20 minutes we really took the game to them and were on top by half time then dominated the second half and could have scored a couple more,I was far from bored and enjoyed it.

Cardiff were hard to break down. The team and crowd had to be patient. At the end of the game we could have had 5!

I'd much rather we had our ducks in a row from day one than giving the league a head start.
I'm not sure it'll happen as I still have reservations about the strength of the squad, but if we narrowly missed out on top 2 on the back of our poor start again then it'll be criminal.
We need PL football purely from a financial point of view and repeated slow starts severely impact anyone's ability to deliver that.
You saw last year how a less than fantastic Sheffield United team managed to go up on the back of a good start.

Saw a dreadful start with a dipstick of a gaffa, replaced with a genius who took us from 21st to 4th.
We plough our own furrow.

Yeah Carrick is a genius for the sake of FFP(footballing Fair play) he gave the rest of the league a head start and a false sense of security.
