Carlos Corberan

Won 2 in 11 games in Greece
To be fair Wilder had won about 3 in 4 months in his previous job😂

The point being any 'available' manager will not have a job for a reason. That reason is they failed at the last club. They wouldn't be 'available' otherwise.

No brainer. Got Huddersfield to 3rd on a shoestring budget.
He might only have a single shoelace with us.

Fettis is the only one that would be staying regardless I'd think.

Wouldn't be against Corberan at all. Carrick could work if he has an experienced head with him.

I think that's where we're at now unless someone comes from left field, which if they've got a great rep as a coach I'm all for.

Corberan wanted to bring his own coaching team. Gibson insisted he kept the existing chaps.
Source? Thought it had been said that all the coaching staff bar Fettis had been taken off the club website along with Wilder? In which case that would completely go against your post…

Where’d you get that info? Wilder brought in Knill, Prestridge and Allen in with him. I’d assume they’ll be leaving if they haven’t already, meaning we don’t have existing chaps as you say.
Fettis is staying but I believe the main stumbling block was Leo, plus the future role of Tinkler.

That wouldn’t make any sense… jeopardising a manager to suit current backroom/academy staff. But if true, nothing surprises me with the club decisions these days.

I saw a tweet last night suggesting Carrick wants to bring Mike Phelan and Rene Meulensteen with him.

Can't see it mind given that Phelan is coach at Man Utd and Meulensteen is assistant manager of the Austrian national team. Would be quite a comedown for them.
