A few years ago many were predicting the death of this competition citing that Premier League clubs didn't take it seriously and too many silly scores were happening.
Now we have Round 4 last night where 13 of the 16 teams were from the Premier League with just plucky Sheff Wed, Stoke and Preston holding the EFL end up (courtesy of a mammoth penalties win against Fulham)
The seeding up to the third round plus the enormous gulf in quality as pretty much seen off this Cup for romance.
