Could be an inspired move, Warnock has certainly got him playing and he looks like he’s lost quite a bit of weight. Warnock has stated his reasons and that’s good enough for me. Let’s see where we end up

I'm an old fashioned sort of guy and I always like my captain to be a centre half... see the game being played in front of you. However, if it spurs Britt on, it might turn out to be a psychological master stroke.

Warnock even admitted he put it past Hall and Howson go make sure they were onside with it.
Hey if it works it can only benefit the club and Assombalonga.

i remain sceptical though.

and hopeful that Morsy will be attracted by that armband.

Yeah, if it works, it can only benefit. I thought it would've been Hall, but, again, Warnock knows what he's doing, so, all good!

There is absolutely no way that if he signs he will be captain. He would sign for us due to, in order,

The money
A league up from where he is
First team football
The manager
Good facilities
Ambition as sold by the club
The location
The other players
About a million other things
Being given a snazzy armband.
