I am sympathetic to him to be honest I sense a bitterness in the fans, I wish him well imho he left on good terms with Gibson and IMHO helped get us Carrick.
Wilder is very well respected as a coach and a good guy.
Cannot wait for this game tonight.

"Family reasons" sounds like some form of NDA where Gibson pays him off on the (legal) understanding he goes, and doesn't say anything bad about the club.
Quite a few managers have been bombed out (bigger names than Wilder) and haven't gone crying to the media. Just went home and closed the curtains until a new job turns up.

I can assure you he left for family reasons and this was why the team were performing so under par.
LS centre half, you think that’s literally what he was after.
its guff to say he left because he was purely been tapped up or sniffing for the PL and his mate Tavernier.

Anyhow my view on Carrick is he is an excellent prospect and I know we finish 15th at worst and 5th at best, that is my spread bet, buy at 11th and above for profit.

If he did leave for family reasons, he could - alongside the club - say that publicly and he’d get quite a lot of respect IMO. Or at least people would have a better understanding.
Some things are more important than football. If it’s family reasons then I can’t really see why there’d be so much secrecy and such a cold and clinical press release announcing he was gone.

We’ve been okay but another goal conceded from a set piece. And our throw-ins are consistently terrible. The good thing is the next manager should be able address these on the training field within two or three weeks.

And no sooner had I said that and we fell apart from a simple near post corner. Who is organising our set plays? I've noticed so many times that when a short corner is threatened we don't move a second player out to match I can't even tell if we're playing zone, man-for-man or some sort of hybrid system or indeed any system at all.
