Can we have wilder back now?

You could feel something wasn’t right and hasn’t been for weeks.

How? We’re not exposed to anything in the club. There is nothing to point to other than rumour.
But apart from Tavernier it’s the same players who were very good at times last season. We have improved in many other areas of the pitch, just not centre mid.

As I said we have just regressed to mean and I’m not convinced we’ve improved much of anything to be honest. Giles is good. That’s about it. We’ve taken a poor squad, sold the best player and brought in dross by and large.

I never said he was garbage he’s a good manager and will be again but for whatever reason he lost faith in us and it showed there was a clear disconnect as we all saw and results fell off a cliff in Easter. The same time as Burnley rumours began.

Something happened something was badly wrong and I do think he has to go but he’s still a very good manager.

But it wasn’t working here
Agree something has probably happened and clearly why he was let go, but it's also clearly more than tactics or relationships isn't it? If they can't play for a passionate leader like leo today and they put in such a gutless performance then surely it's the players and those who brought them in who are a much bigger problem, rather than any manager, wilder Warnock, any of them!

If it was wilder, if it was the players losing trust because he was after other moves etc, then we'd have seen a marked improvement right?

What’s hilarious is there are people actually trying to suggest there are no problems with our recruitment and it’s the managers fault .

If that’s the case and the manager had the say, why has he bought so many players that don’t fit his formation and bought strikers who hardly get a start?

I mean it’s probably going to take another 10 managers and the same F***ing problems we’ve had for years for the penny to drop for some , Gibson is the problem

Gibbos strength is his ability to deflect all attention away from himself. He can’t be responsible for any of his decisions or repeated failings. It’s always the managers he appointed and doesn’t back. But he backs them. And they fail. Plus we’re in debt. But he’s saved us from debt. He didn’t get us in debt. My head hurts.

There are many of our fans who have deluded themselves into thinking he’s the best chairman in England.

Gibson may have previously had a great reputation among managers , but that’s gone now . There is a trend emerging of him ******* off managers at the moment . Karanka walked out effectively. Gibson I imagine over promised and under delivered . He back stabbed Warnock effectively after a win to get wilder . He then promised wilder a summer where they’d go for it and we end up with some “development strikers “ who wilder didn’t want .

So many fans who are critical of the chairman also saying go support another club then . Alternatively why doesn’t Gibson form a club called Gibson fc and they can go support them ? They seem to care more for Gibson than Middlesbrough fc

Really? I can’t see anyone on this board who thinks that?

There are clearly issues with our recruitment and has been for years, but that doesn’t mean that managers get a free pass for failing also.

Yeah. I don’t see that the blame for basically 5 seasons of consistent failure should all fall at one person’s door. It’s the club’s top brass as well as the succession of managers AND players who’ve failed. They’re all culpable.
