Can we get our 7th league win on Saturday?? ..

They proved under O Neil last season that they know how to set up to overrun our system, also after being on a good little run. I'm hoping that we are little meaner at the back and nastier up front, so a draw would be nice but if we do get the win then to me it indicates we have more to our all-round play than last season.

We will beat stoke if we keep a clean sheet. Confident we can beat plymouth too so i can see winning run going on. Wete learning to grind our results now.

Other than Burnley, Stoke were the best team to come to our place last year.

We were smack bang in the middle of some scintillating form, scoring for fun (5 v Reading, 3 away to Swansea, we stuck 4 past Preston in the next game), keeping the ball and giving teams the run around. Stoke outplayed us and if anything deserved to win.

I thought they would be right up there this year, so I've been surprised at their start. Similar to us. I wonder if they lost some key players from last season like we did, and have taken a bit longer to start to gel than we have?

It will be a tough game.

Carrick has faith in the squad. They have the capability and the experience to take up the challenge. We need to make lots of noise and give them that bit extra on Saturday. (y)
Carrick has always been very positive about the whole squad, you are right.

We can still put a decent side out with some game changing substitutions available to us. If we loose it won't be because of players missing I don't think.

Think they have lost a few loan players including Smallbone who was outstanding against us last season, but could be a tough game

Stoke on a decent run? They’ve won two on the bounce both at home, having lost 2 before that. Hardly a run. They will have had a days less rest than us and we’re at home (they've won 1 away all season).
