As said previously, our only hope is Villa need to kick on towards top 6 so need a striker who has done it at a higher level.

Little perspective needed, the step from Championship to PL - especially for forwards - is huge.

But he has the potential, just needs the opportunity to show whether he has it at PL level or not.......love it to be with Boro, but reckon we have a 10% chance at present. We get promoted (or not) and take him on loan next season.....

My villa mate said exactly that emery is looking elsewhere so he fully expect us to loan archer again next season if not buy him.
