Burnley Madness

Diffierent timing but it reminds me of when we fired Karanka and had no plan in place and drifted out of the league.
For Burley to do it with 4 games left, when they actually finally have an opporunity to stay up (due to Everton's poor form) is just bizarre.

There were 8 games left when they sacked him.

Still 7 now.

The overall point is right though, which is why I'm concerned about Wilder leaving as they'll throw money at him if they want him.

Yeah i'm not sure why I wrote 4, probably thinking about our run-in

If Wilder was to go there it wouldn't be immediately and they could be 6 points behind by then having played more games. I can't see Wilder doing it while there's still a chance of us being in a higher division than them next season.

Hoping for an Everton win tonight and a Burnley battering tomorrow to make it less tempting for him.

But I think it's been a very damaging week even if he does stay now.

It feels like that for a lot of people, but if we either have a good run in and scrape the play offs, or continue to improve next season under Wilder it'll be long forgotten. Plus he may put it to bed in the next press conference.
