British Vandalism

very good.. esp the Barlow one, has to be someone fairly middle aged or older as younguns wouldn't make the association..

There was a a bit of hate on the walls of the bogs at Saltburn - council had placed stickers on the walls: Don't flush foreign objects down the toilet
& some knuckle dragging bigot had scrawled - Accept Muslims - next to it, which I thought was quite progressive of him.. or highlighted his limited vocabulary..

The cleverest piece of toilet graffiti I recall were on the walls of toilet in Balliol College Oxford.

” God is Dead”

Friedrich Nietzsche

underneath was written by somebody else

“Friedrich Nietzsche is dead”

God

In West Indies my mate noticed a sticker which said BEWARE THIEVES ABOUT and the photo on the sticker was Bobby Moore.

As Smithy ran out of wall Citizen Smith

St Peters school in South Bank used to have a massive wooden cross on the front wall of the old building (now bulldozed) and someone had scrawled across it "Jesus Woz Ere"

In my army days a sign on the toilet wall read "Please flush twice as it's a long way to the cookhouse"
