British police going to Qatar to support “cultural standards”

What a load of old cobblers - personally i won’t be watching any of it purely because of where it’s being held and the fact they managed to get it over there with the aid several “brown envelopes” in the right places. Any country that thinks misogyny and homophobia is fine and dandy isn’t for me.
 
"Those "unfortunate misunderstandings" could stem from fans drinking alcohol, taking shirts off, waving flags, gathering in large numbers and other stereotypes that come with football fan culture."

Good luck with that Qatar ... I think you're going to get offended .. best join the 21st century like the rest of the world pretty darned quick ..

I have decided to boycott the world cup this year. I have decided not to watch a single match and not purposely watch a single highlight. not that it will make a blind bit of difference but I want to keep my principles over a football.
There is several reasons for me which I won't go into but it mainly falls at the corruption of certain organisations, which put money before people.

Was pleasantly surprised how many people agreed when i mentioned i would not watch a single match ,it might not make much difference ,but it will make me feel better .

I'm sorry Qatar but for a few weeks it's not your country anymore, if you didn't want people from normal countries there enjoying themselves then you shouldn't have spent all that money on getting FIFA to give you the world cup.
