British Cycling National Road Championships return to Saltburn

course details not out yet but CB website says
"The championships will then conclude with the road races, which will once again start and finish in Saltburn on Sunday 23 June. The sporting course that has been devised for this year’s event is a modified version of the 2023 route, with fewer climbs, and will pass through the picturesque seafront town each lap before heading out to take on the rolling terrain of the Tees Valley.
so multiple passes along Marine Parade or thru town somewhere I would imagine. To specifically say "Tees Valley" and "fewer climbs" It may be the route runs out west of Saltburn and doesn't include Saltburn bank like last year.

Hopefully it will be televised/streamed again.

It's worth noting that the area also hosts two rounds of the National Series with the East Cleveland Classic (formerly Klondike) on April 14th and the Ryedale Grasscrete Grand Prix (usually based on Helmsley/Ampleforth) on 18th August.

Time to check out the route map and find a good place to watch - I suppose Saltburn bank will be heaving.

It actually wasn't that bad last year! I was working in Saltburn on the Sunday and managed to grab a 30 minutes on the bank itself to watch the riders struggle up!
