Didn't see a lot of Souness but it's no comparison between Vieira and Keane surely? Yes, Keane was much more combative but in terms of technical ability Vieira is light years ahead. Much, much better footballer in my opinion.

At his peak for Aresnal viera was the best for a few seasons however longevity wise Keane played almost as high for 5 or 6 seasons more.

Viera was a much more technical footballer than Keane but both were very big players for their clubs.
