BrewDog Beers

I'm convinced nobody actually "likes" the taste of larger or beer though, and they just drink them as it's the done thing, or they just want the feeling of being drunk or tipsy.
I think the advent of zero % beers and lagers prove you wrong there. They used to be universally pretty bl**dy awful but now some are very palatable and easier to drink over an evening than diet coke or lemon and lime. Guinness Zero is very decent and unless you did a back to back tasting I doubt many could tell it was alcohol free.

Lost Lager is terrible but I'm a fan of Elvis Juice and Hazy Jane but the double one.

I've had a couple of decent ones from one of their bars in Manchester but very expensive

Punk IPA is awful now, but when it was released 15 years ago it was awesome before they dicked about with the recipe etc.

Nowadays they just churn out a load of well-marketed rubbish. They're about as far away from being a 'craft brewery' as you can get without being one of the 'big 3'.

Another Hazy Jane fan here.

BTW has anyone stayed at the doghouse I'm Manchester? It's pretty cool. I had a guitar, recprd player and vinyl in the room. The minibar was literally every drink they make plus you could get a keg of your favourite. Oh and of course, there was a beer fridge in the shower.

Been a fan of brewdog for a long time now, I do think you can tell mass production has eroded their craft brewer status. I like hazy Jane and buy the flavoured versions, but can’t help but feel like it’s hazy Jane with a shot of concentrate put in whilst canning. I do like the rums and vodkas too.

I started off drinking quench quake which was a sour, loved that stuff. Then moved onto clockwork tangerine which rapidly became my first choice beer, but they’ve made that seasonal now.
What I find now though is that it’s changed my palette and I can’t stand the alternatives like fosters, Stella, johns smiths, real ales etc.

I tend to go for brewers such as vault city, brew York and vocation now.

Sounds good, I might take the smoggette on tour.

I think I like most of their beers, Elvis Juice is probably favourite at the moment, often get the multi pack and not too badly priced

I'm a massive fan of sours. There's an amazing brewery called Brick Brewery in Peckham that put out loads of great sours and have been for 10 years or so.

I have and have to say I loved it. The roof top bar was a nice touch as was the free drinking arrival. Food not the greatest I seem to recall but overall a great experience, LPs wise I think I got The Sniths, Blondie, Bowie and possibly Oasis or The Stone Roses. Location is fab too, would recommend to anybody.

Also big Hazy Jane and Elvis juice fan and am partial to double Punk (or normal Punk on the draft machine)

Sounds great but I'd never get out of the room to do whatever I went to Manchester for 😁
