Can see why the bookies have them as favourites, looking at that squad it looks a millions miles ahead of the England squad

As I said on the other thread expect richarlison to be heavily involved prob in a front three with neymar and Raphina.

Vinicius has to start surely
Yes your right most prob for Raphina I’d say but Tite is quite pragmatic so I’d still say it will be the front 3 of

Neymar richarlison Vinicius/raphina

Jesus is having a great season, would he get in the England squad?

Vinicius is a very good footballer. He would.

Martinelli wouldn't get in the England squad.

82 team was brilliant loved zico.
Buy that book mate I’m reading it now it’s written by a lad from Scarborough about how that Brazil side completely captivated him. I can totally relate as I remember just being spellbound by that Brazil side and those yellow shirts but for me zico was the greatest.

Still can’t believe he was at Wembley for our cup final along with pele stood together on the balcony.

True story I had a Brazil top long before we signed Juno, but it was so rare I had to order it from Jack Hatfield’s as they didn’t sell them and nowhere else in Middlesbrough did.

The thing with any Brazil squad is whether they will gel into a competitive side. They certainly look impressive on paper but sometimes the egos are too much. I'm slightly surprised that Joelinton wasn't in there as I don't think the midfield is terribly impressive (Fred? really?) and as others have pointed out the rather elderly defence could mean that they fade as the tournament games mount up and they face better sides.

I wasn’t as he’s a nobody in Brazil, he has 4 caps at U17 level and they give those out like confetti in Brazil.

He had no footprint in Brazilian football before moving to Germany then being bought by a ridiculous sum by Newcastle.

He was never getting in that side.

Do you think the Brazilian management team take no notice of Premier League football?

They have had a pretty torrid time since 2002 on the world stage. They’re almost always favourites though; and people still love “Brazilian footballers”. I haven’t checked but I don’t even think their Copa America record is particularly impressive in the last 20 years. Especially when you consider how much richer and bigger they are than all other South American nations.
