Yeah him and stuani are awful
There is still an active thread on this from yesterday
TBH I thought Stuani was very mediocre for us and I was never a big fan of his, although it may not have all been his fault. The fact he's been great since he left doesn't change that for me though.Stuani is quality. Braithwaite was ***** for us. Simple as that
I don't know how anyone could think Stuani was anything other than a mediocre player until he left us. He was less than a 1 in 3 goalscorer until he joined Girona. He always looked an instinctive finisher, but nobody new how good he could be until he started scoring for Girona.
I genuinely always liked him I seen him as a natural one touch finisher who was played out of position. I’m not gonna sit here and pretend I knew he was gonna be as good as he has been since he left but I always did rate him and believe it was a fault of Karanka that he played him out of position. He would of scored a shed load for us if played as the main striker every game in the championship imo.
Yes, I agree, AK not giving Stuani a real opportunity as the central striker was a big mistake. He was always the best finisher at the club. Mind whether he would have had the service due to the lack of creativity and pace is another matter. We could have saved a fortune had we kept him.
Imagine if we had have kept Stuani and not spent £24m on Britt and Braithwaite following relegation.
We could have used that money to sign a quality winger and midfield playmaker and lined up like this.....
Randolph
Christie
Ayala
Gibson
Friend
Traore
?????
Clayton
??????
Stuani
Bamford
