What resort you staying in Bernie? We are in Alvor which is just a taxi ride in and out. Staying in Alvor as we love the place.
Would be good to arrange a meeting pub for the day of the game.
Did you get the east Midlands flight Thursday to Sunday?

Staying in Lagos itself, beach front, same as you very short taxi ride to the ground.

Flying from Leeds Bradford, Thursday to Sunday 👍🏻
 
I went last time we were in Lagos, back in 2012. Thought it was a great place.

For those going there could well be a second game earlier in the week.
 
On holiday in Albufeira with Mrs and kids at same time. I'm hoping to get across to it if I can figure out the bus/train timetable/system. It's around an hour away for me.
Think I'll bring my eldest, he's 4, watching Boro in Portugal for your first match 👌🏻

Im in albufeira, thinking of a few options available, go to lagos for the day spend time in the city and on the beach, sampling a restaurant and a few beers pre match. I will be travelling across from albufeira via bus, they are reasonable price. There are no buses/trains coming back after the game so will get a taxi back 55-70 euros?? Could share taxi trip back which will reduce the cost. Have a great holiday, looking forward to the craic at the boro game. Boro on tour ;)

Hey pal, that's not bad thinking. I was trying to get my head around the timetable websites for the train and buses. But for ease sharing a taxi back would be really handy. I'll give you a shout next week prior to the game. We're away from the 13th..
 
For anyone making the trip the bars are about a 20 minute walk from the ground. We are meeting in the 3 Monkeys from about 3 if anyone fancies a beer and a meet up pre match.

Good Bar Three Monkey's.

For those flying in from Teesside. Flight gets in 3:35. There is a bus from airport direct to Lagos the leaves at 4:00. Cost 12 euro but is quicker than going in to Faro for train. Takes 1HR 50.
 
Ianson, we aren't staying in Lagos so have booked a taxi with a company called A22 transfers. They are based in Alvor where we are staying but cover all the Algarve. We use them on all our trips to Portugal for our transfers and trips etc. They are always superb. They have a Facebook page so drop them a message and they reply straight away. We booked a trip from Alvor to Albufeira and it was 40 euros each way, Lagos is closer so should be slightly cheaper.
